Learn to Crochet with Lisa! "Granny Squares" Session: Thursday, August 30th, @ 7pm
If you've been wanting to pick up crochet, now is your chance! Second in a series of intro to crochet courses held at McHarper Manor, Lisa Curry will instruct attendees in the process of granny squares, a building block of crochet!
Attendees will learn Chains, Double crochet, and Slip stitch techniques that you can use in a multitude of ways! Granny squares can be made in any size and put together to make several fun projects including pillow covers, blankets, scarves and more.
During this 2 hour class, Participants will learn how to begin crochet and dive into the process of making granny squares to begin a new project or add to an existing piece. Class time is limited to 2 hours, but if your project is not completed within the allotted time, you will be given enough supplies to finish at home with the supplies and simply repeating the techniques you've learned.
*This class is an intro / beginner course. No prior knowledge / experience needed!* Easily grasped for ages 15+, 12 - 14 can enjoy this session with active parent / helper involvement.
This class includes all materials, professional instruction, & light refreshments.
