Join us as we explore the ancient art of Shibori! Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that typically involves folding, twisting or bunching cloth and binding it, then dyeing it in indigo. During this 90 minute class you will learn process and technique; we will supply everything to create a piece that's unique and fits your personal style! You can choose from 2 different projects: Scarf or 18" Throw Pillow Case.
Scarf: 20"x 60" 100% cotton scarf - light and breezy; perfect for spring through fall.
Throw Pillow Cover: (Pillow cover only, pillow insert are not included)
Size: 17.7” x 17.7” - fits standard 18" throw pillow
Made of Cotton, soft and comfortable, Invisible zipper design, easy to remove.
This pillow case set are perfect for both indoor and outdoor decoration, ideal for putting on sofa, chair, couch, bed, window seat or car
This class includes all materials, professional instruction, & light refreshments. You may choose to make 1 project or more, but class time is limited to 90 minutes. Any unfinished pieces can be completed at home.
Easily grasped for ages 16+, 8 - 15 can enjoy this session with active parent / helper involvement.
